 Testimonials

On behalf of the Chicago land Starbucks stores I fully endorse the work of A Safe Haven Landscaping. A Safe Haven Landscaping has been our seasonal display vendor for the City of Chicago locations for the last 4 years. The scope of work included design, installation and maintenance of sidewalk planters, window boxes and decorative patio planters at over 60 Chicago stores.  In addition to the excellent work A Safe Haven Landscaping does, what I was impressed about the most was the communication between the managers and myself. Any concerns are addressed immediately and they follow up on regular basis whether there is an issue or not, to see if our needs are being met. A Safe Haven Landscaping has the capacity, experience and equipment to perform projects like ours and others many times bigger than that.  Michael Meller – District Manager, Starbucks

I would like to offer an endorsement for the work of A Safe Haven Landscaping. Since 2006, A Safe Haven Landscaping has worked as a vendor for the Chicago Public Schools. They provide landscape maintenance at over 120 Chicago Public Schools and perform a variety of installation projects each year. The total revenue for all the work they will do with the Chicago Public Schools in 2013 will be over $650,000.00. Their business has always maintained a high standard of quality, which makes them a great partner for us. The partnership between the Chicago Public Schools and A Safe Haven Landscaping has been very successful. Chicago Public Schools has worked with them for 7 years and looks forward to a continued relationship. A Safe Haven Landscaping has the competence, capability and capacity to perform any maintenance and installation project assigned to them.  Terry McGuffage – Director of Asset Management, Chicago Public Schools

On behalf of Chicago Gateway Green, I would like to sincerely recommend A Safe Haven’s Landscape Division.  A Safe Haven has worked as a vendor for Chicago Gateway Green since 2000.  Through the years, A Safe Haven has been awarded larger contracts with increasing responsibilities, as they have proven their strong work ethic, high standards of care, and exceptional professionalism.  Specifically, A Safe Haven has worked with Chicago Gateway Green to maintain gardens along Chicago’s major expressways with annual contracts of nearly $50,000.  A Safe Haven crews are charged to collect and remove litter from lawn and garden beds, to mow embankment areas twice per month during our seven-month season, to spray and remove weedy brush along fence lines and within large tree and shrub beds, and to maintain diverse ornamental garden beds, including weeding, dead-heading, distributing broadleaf herbicides, and replacing spent plant material with new varieties.  More recently, A Safe Haven has been the vendor of choice to assist in Gateway Green’s large-scale tree planting efforts, regularly going above and beyond to provide the best service possible.  The planting sites are always left cleaner than when the work began, and each employee is incredibly meticulous yet efficient when handling and installing plant material.  A Safe Haven is truly a unique organization, as much for its work ethic as its job training and placement program.  I fully endorse the landscaping work of A Safe Haven.  Allison Neuman – Landscaping Operations Manager, Chicago Gateway Green
